Job Summary
We have an immediate need for a skilled Property Maintenance/Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will travel between our various commercial properties (convenience stores/apartment complex) in Niagara and Northern Erie County and maintain, diagnose and repair their existing equipment/appliances as needed. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Respond to tenant requests for apartment repairs/service
- Respond to Store Manager/Owner requests for repairs/service at Convenience Stores
- Evaluate and diagnose equipment/appliance problems
- Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation
- Repair appliances/equipment or arrange for outside contractor repair if deemed necessary
- Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Oversee outdoor property management at all locations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or Property Management is preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience diagnosing issues with AC and Refrigeration
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
